Offensive Woes
With the Giants riding a 6 game losing streak and sitting at 2-7, thought we’d take a look at some stats to see just how bad they are right now…
- 33 runs scored, 2nd to last
- 70 hits, 4th from the bottom
- 5 Hrs, dead last (Nelson Cruz on Tex has 5 by himself)
- 28 RBIs, 2nd to last
- .240 batting avg, 12th of 16
- .302 OBP, 2nd to last
- .360 Slugging %, again 2nd to last
Not sure what it’s gonna take right now to get things turned around. Maybe the series vs. 3-7 Arizona this weekend will do the guys some good.

Its nice to see you put a picture next to your articles, very professional. It looks like the Giants will be having a very simple motto this season (First team to 1 wins). The lack of offense is going to kill this team this season, but even mor important is its going to make it hard to retain their awesome young arms. Why would you want to sign with a team that you have to put up a shutout in order to win?
